Devlog #4: Ramping Velocity


Hello again! Ramping Velocity has been updated and now has new functionalities, so we come to you with new updates and a summary of our progress so far!

Up to this point we had achieved a solid foundation for our game, adding the basic elements our game needs, such as a base level, character movement, stage hazards, stage power-ups, checkpoints, end flags and more.

Now aside from fixing various bugs, we added some more animations and sounds, and we have added a variety of different levels to choose from, with the intent to have a larger selection of experiences for our player base. 

A total of 5 levels are now available to select from:

Level 1: Very Fast Paced Level

Level 2: A level that branches off and reconvenes, with pros and cons on both sides

Level 3: A long level with 2 checkpoints and more power-ups than usual

Level 4: A vertical level where you must race downwards

Level 5: Very Difficult Level

Next we would like to continue tweaking and fixing bugs or unexpected behaviors that may yet exist in our game, while updating or changing certain aspects to better fit our current view of the game.
